Ruben Swint

“Stewardship and fundraising consulting truly fits who I am—personally, spiritually and professionally. As an experienced and skilled senior strategist, I am dedicated to providing a successful fundraising experience that fits your congregation’s unique mission, culture, personality and values.”

The gifted stewardship consultant is highly perceptive and confident. And with 19 years as a fundraiser to his credit, Ruben Swint is the picture of both: he listens, discerns and accurately “reads” situations while providing sound strategic and tactical guidance to the churches and organizations he serves.

After six successful years in business, Ruben answered a different calling, earning his Master of Divinity degree in Church Administration. In that role, he led his church in a $5 million rebuilding program following a devastating fire. In the 19 years since—both as a denominational staff fundraiser and in his own practice—he has guided over 120 capital campaigns, helping churches build, renovate and retire debt. For six of those 19 years, Ruben also served as a foundation president directing $20 million in investments and securing $25 million in planned gifts.

An inspired speaker and published writer, Ruben often leads professional conferences in the field and is an active member of both the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the National Association of Church Business Administrators. Ruben earned his BA in History from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA and his Master of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Not only is he well-versed in annual, capital and planned giving, Ruben says his native disposition, as defined by the famous Myers Briggs® Personality Type Indicator (“The Strategist”), is ideally suited to his profession.
